Ways to Give

Be a champion for Connecticut’s women and girls! Without you, we cannot fight for an equitable society where women and girls thrive. There are many ways to support CWEALF’s work for gender equity every day.

Know that each dollar you contribute protects gender equity in our state and ensures that CWEALF can serve as your tireless advocate! Give today, give monthly, or give in honor of someone you love!

Become a Monthly Donor

Set the $ amount and frequency of your recurring donation. Your recurring gift gives CWEALF reliable monthly income and YOU make a long-term impact for gender equity in our state. We can’t fight for paid leave and pay equity without our monthly donors!

Dedicate Your Gift

Dedicate your donation in honor of someone who has made a difference in your life, and CWEALF will send your honoree a letter to share the love!

Does your employer match your donation?

Many employers will double the amount you give! Contact your human resources representative to learn how you can double your impact for women and girls today.

Create a Facebook Fundraiser for CWEALF

Ask your personal social networks to support the nonprofits you love – like CWEALF! Set up a fundraiser on Facebook for your birthday or during the holiday giving season.

Support CWEALF When You Shop
When you make purchases through Amazon Smile a percentage of your purchase is donated to a charity you choose. When you shop, choose the Connecticut Women’s Education and Legal Fund as your charity and we will use these dollars to fight for paid leave and pay equity here in CT!

Shirley Bysiewicz Legacy Society

Shirley Bysiewicz, tenured Professor and longtime law librarian at the University of Connecticut School of Law, was one of CWEALF’s founders and the first President of CWEALF.  By joining the Legacy Society, bearing her name, friends of CWEALF will help ensure that Shirley’s goal of advancing the rights of women will continue into the future.

Membership to the Legacy Society is open to those who have included CWEALF in their wills and other estate planning.  Please contact Development and Communications Coordinator Meg Dubois at or 860-610-6046 if you have made provisions for CWEALF in your will, or if you would like more information about how to make a bequest.
