Workshops for Teachers, Faculty, and Counselors
Strategies to Advance Equity - Interactive 1.5 hour workshop with teachers, faculty and/or counselors to discuss strategies in your school to advance equity in CTE.
Addressing Bias and Mindset - Interactive 1.5 hour workshop on the science behind implicit bias and growth mindset. Participants walk away with tools to build an inclusive classroom.

Speed Networking – Career professional panel and speed networking session for your students to expose them to new role models and learn 21st century skills.
Closing the Gender Gap - Interactive 1 hour workshop for students to learn about gender inequity in the workforce today and strategies to close the gender gap. Students participate in a “real-world” simulation to develop a plan of action.

Connecticut Collective for Women and Girls
The Connecticut Collective for Women and Girls is a community of organizations committed to the advancement of women and girls, including those who are cisgender, transgender, and non-binary, in the state of Connecticut. The Collective is a network that brings participating organizations together to highlight and amplify their work while drawing on the collective power of collaboration.
Hartford Teen Pregnancy Prevention Initiative (HTTPI)
CWEALF is the evaluator for the City of Hartford Department of Health and Human Services multi-year initiative funded by the federal government to reduce teen birth rates in Hartford. It meets this goal by providing evidence-based sexual health programs, increasing young people’s access to clinical services, and engaging in community outreach in a sustainable and culturally sensitive manner.

CWEALF is the technical assistance partner to this multi-year pilot initiative with Melville Charitable Trust and 21 philanthropic partners to increase the income of families transitioning out of homelessness by connecting them to the resources they need to get and keep good jobs.
