Welfare Information Network (WIN)

National Partnership for Women and Families
The National Partnership for Women & Families is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that uses public education and advocacy to promote fairness in the workplace, quality health care, and policies that help women and men meet the dual demands of work and family.

Manpower Demonstration Research Corporation
MDRC is a nonprofit, non partisan social policy research organization dedicated to learning what works to improve the well-being of low-income people. Through their research and active communication of their findings, seek to enhance the effectiveness of public policy and programs.

Center for Law and Social Policy
Represent and provide advice to legal aid programs funded by the legal Services Corporation and encourage innovative advocacy to achieve racial and social justice on behalf of low-income and marginalized communities through the Project for the Future of Equal Justice.

Institute for Researching Poverty
IRP is a center for interdisciplinary research into the causes and consequences of poverty and social inequality in the United States. As one of three Area Poverty Research Centers sponsored by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, it has a particular interest in poverty and family welfare in the Midwest.

Southern Poverty Law Center
The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) fights all forms of discrimination and works to protect society's most vulnerable members, handling innovative cases that few lawyers are willing to take. Over three decades, it has achieved significant legal victories, including landmark Supreme Court decisions and crushing jury verdicts against hate groups. SPLC is internationally known for its tolerance education programs, its legal victories against white supremacists and its tracking of hate groups.
