Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 9am to 1pm and Tuesday 11am to 3 pm, I&R staff are available to answer your legal questions regarding divorce, custody, child support, sexual harassment, lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender civil rights just to name a few.

Referrals to other resources: CWEALF can provide a referral to an attorney for an initial low cost or free consultation, and to other agencies for additional support and information.

Advocacy
I&R Staff specialists also provide advocacy for callers who are victims of hate crimes because of their actual or perceived sexual orientation, people who have tried navigating the child support system themselves, but find its not working and/or for someone who experiences discrimination at work or in school.

Community Advocate
Besides providing I&R by phone, we also have a Community Advocate who provides the same I&R Services on-site at collaborating community organizations in Greater Hartford a few days a week. For more information, download this flyer
