Campaign for a Working CT
Since 2006, CWEALF has led the Campaign for a Working Connecticut (CWCT). The CWCT is a diverse coalition that promotes the state's economic competitiveness through the development of sustainable, effective workforce solutions to increase workers' skills and advance families to self-sufficiency by:
- expanding training and education services
- addressing local needs for workforce development
- adding flexibility to current programs and funding sources
- targeting demographic gaps in current services
- promoting coordination and collaboration between students, businesses and the State
- improving accountability in fund usage and program outputs
Since its founding, the CWCT has been bridging traditional divides between agencies and funding streams to unite a wide range of participants and viewpoints.
